Would you look at the color-changes that happen as you crochet with this yarn? I'm seriously happy about how these turned out. As Junie B. Jones would say, "I runned and runned around the room real thrilled!" (I really like the way she does things!) And as these mittens rolled off my hook, this is pretty much what I did. Don't be embarrassed for me...no one was there but me.
Sea Ice Mittens is the name I finally settled on because the colors were reminiscent of the color of the icy sea.
I've written the mittens in a women's small-medium size, but a little play with a hook size or yarn weight could size them up and down to suit you.
They are now available on Etsy and LoveCrafts. Made with the same primary yarn as the Sea Ice Cowl--they are perfectly paired!
In fact, if you want to make both together you can find them also sold together here in my Felted Button Etsy shop. Then you can have a matching set!
NOW, be thinking about this...
What has been the best thing about this year? Food? Vacation? Decision? Struggle? Learning opportunity? Friend?
I'll be back in a few days to share some of my "BESTS" of 2012 and I want to hear about yours!
