ONLY JUST BORN HAT
I designed this hat specifically to provide a pattern for those of you wanting something unique and cozy for potential charity projects or for a first hat for that special little one in your life. Maybe you will want to make several and donate them to your nearby maternity hospital. The pattern is written in newborn size only.
It works up quickly and has lots of fun color and texture. I used Red Heart Unforgettable for mine which I think was a good choice for affordability, softness and color changes without the need to weave ends.

● herringbone dc (hbdc)—yarn over, insert hook in

● bead stitch (bead)—insert hook in designated st,
yarn over, draw through st, (yarn over draw through first loop on hook) twice,
yarn over, draw through both loops on hook (pushing bead loop to the RS when

join to first puff –16 puffs & 8 ch-1

sp, sc in next 2 puffs; rep from * around omitting final sc in puff, join to
