Baskets of Rainbows Blanket

Doesn't this stitch look like it is woven like a basket? Seriously mad texture on both the front and back of the blanket. LOVE!!!

The texture, the color, the fact that you can make it any dimensions you want and the border still works up without a hitch--did I already say LOVE!?

I wrote this pattern using Scheepjes Colour Crafter*, using 23 skeins of it--in 23 vibrant colors--and managed to design THREE heavenly and bursting-with-color blankets!

I think this yarn is so much fun! And bonus...it's VERY affordable! I found mine at Deramores.com*, but you can find it other places, too--all with shipping around the world

And each of the patterns outlines exactly which of the colors I used (they are similar, but not all exactly the same).

I've got several other little patterns on my hook right now. With Fall approaching and back-to-school my mind is whirling with some smaller yet cozy projects. What about you?

  3. I, too, love Stylecraft yarn! I first used it when I made a cushion cover from Lucy's Attic24 blog. Even living in America and having it shipped here, I find it still the best for the cost! The colours never let me down. I really like all of your blankets, the Basket of Rainbows the best. I will need to seriously start it soon!
Hope you are having a lovely weekend.
    Hugs,
