You know, I crochet and sometimes knit. I've never received a gift of either from anyone.
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents were very crafty and they gifted both my cousin & I handmade dollhouses fully furnished! Unfortunately, most of the pieces are missing, but I spent many years getting good use out of it :)

ReplyDeleteMy mother gave me a gift of a fine thread hand crocheted bedspread that my grandmother made. Both my grandmother and mother crocheted, mostly in fine thread, and I have inherited many of their pieces.

ReplyDeleteMy friend JeNae made me a purse made out of Batman comics! It is so cool I hardly ever use it because I don't want it to get worn out so I hang it on my wall!
