the Let's Twirl Rug and Blanket!
I think this zig-zaggy pattern is fun, too. A bit ripply, chevrony but with swirls, too.
The pattern is written with join-as-you-go instructions that are optional or you can choose your favorite method. Since I love little projects that are easy to take with me, and because you cut the yarn and reattach it again for the final joining round it is the ideal project for mobility.
I made this with a superwash wool so it is soft and easy to wash. I also wrote the pattern with a blank grid so that you can create one of your own with your favorite colors and in your desired size.
You can find the "Let's Twirl" pattern in my shops...

Great design. You are a genius.
ReplyDeleteI really like this design! It would be perfect for a floor blanket for a baby/small toddler to play on. Soft and comfy - especially with hardwood floors! Lovely idea!

Susan, you have outdone yourself! How long did it take you to make this? It is GORGEOUS! Love it!! I might just have to buy the pattern and make it for my baby's nursery - he's due in just 2 weeks! ACK! Thanks for sharing at Hookin On Hump Day!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Sara! It didn't take too long, but would have been faster if I hadn't gotten side tracked by so many other projects at the same time! Best wishes to you and your adorable growing family!
