::Hooking All Night Long::

This is my brain. This is my brain on crochet. Be quiet, would ya!? I really need to get some sleep! Seriously, hush!!

So this is what I've been working on as of late, late, late--a MANDALA STOOL COVER!

Isn't it so colorful and happy? Really pleased with the way it has turned out. The joy of this project has been that I have begun each round without a plan for the next round. I just make it up as I go along and furiously try to write down what I have done. That has been challenging indeed--especially when sleep-deprived!

But the texture...and layers...and colors...are simply splendid, if I do say so myself. Since I don't actually own a stool(I borrowed this one from a friend)I have been hitting the thrift store nearly daily to find one that I can paint a wonderful color and then distress something awful! Hmmmm...but what color? Suggestions? I suppose I am getting ahead of myself, since I don't even have the stool yet. 

The pattern for this beautiful baby should be available as soon as I get it back from the testers. I'll keep you posted. Edit: Pattern can be found here.

Do you think bedtime at 7:30pm is too early? Hopefully I can put my brain to bed early, too! Nighty night. Yawn.
