"Looks like a bag of tropical flavored sour patch gummies!" Simply put, it's YUMMY! So hence, introducing the...
I've actually had this one ready for release for a while, but with the Christmas season pressing, I just held onto it until after the holiday rush was over. I know for me that this is the time I start planning projects for the new year and can do a little relaxed hooking for myself instead of gifts for everyone.
Once again, in typical Felted Button-esque style, I've tried to put together a
I also am tickled when the back of the project looks as beautiful as the front--and this one does, I think.
One of the most amazing things about designs is seeing what happens to them when you change up the colors! Take a gander at this beauty by one of my testers, Cass Dodge, who chose a lovely palette of primary colors! (I'm really loving the mustard in there.) And now it looks so different--one that would be fabulous in a boy's room.
I would rate this pattern at an intermediate skill level, but probably only because of the post stitches worked together--I detail them in the pattern, too.
I made this sample with I Love This Cotton from Hobby Lobby (7 colors and 11 skeins), but I think it could be made in any colors of worsted weight yarn. Goodness, it could be worked in any weight yarn, too! Versatility makes me happy.
Snag a copy of the pattern in any of my shops:
Take note, if you purchase on Etsy, you can save $3 on any purchase of $16.50 or more with the coupon code ESAVE3--and that is good anytime!
I've spent some time reviewing my designs this past year and it has been a BUSY one. I'll blog about my year of designing next week--but I'll have nearly 30 new designs (mostly blankets) released this past year! That's crazy! Just call me a hooking fool! ;)
Finally, I'll be sending out a newsletter soon. Included will be a discount you won't want to miss, and it will be exclusive to my subscribers. You can subscribe at the top of my sidebar. (And I promise not to bombard your inbox!)
