First, I designed the Cozy Christmas Countdown for a fun way to count down the days until Christmas. The pattern was originally included in the book Crochet for Christmas but is now available in my shops.
It includes instructions for making 24 wee hats and mittens, but you could make only 12 for the 12 days of Christmas, as well. How to make the hanging cord is also included. I used LB Collection Superwash Merino in 8 colors and I love it! It's super soft and will look beautiful for years to come!
You could also just make the hats and mittens separately as ornaments to hang. The pattern is rated as Intermediate--simple, quick, versatile and colorful!
Then I designed this...
I named it Fallen Snow Runner, because it made me think of snowflakes blanketing the ground. I made mine in three colors of *Vanna's Glamour by Lion Brand--a fingering weight yarn with a little shimmer that reminds me of sparkly snow.
The pattern includes instructions for join-as-you-go to easily put it all together.
And the snowflake motifs can be worked individually as hanging ornaments, as well.
I hope you love them as much as I do.
You can read all the details about both patterns and "get your hooks on them" in my Etsy shop here or LoveCrafts shop here.
Happy Hooking and Happy Living!
