Warm mittens and cocoa, anyone? (OK, I realize there is no cocoa in the cup.)
It has been quite frigid in my neck of the woods lately. Mittens and hot cocoa are definitely required!
I actually had several hours (almost) to myself the other night so I took advantage of the quiet time and picked up a skein of Red Heart Boutique Treasure Yarn.
Its color is called 'Mosaic' but it reminds me of sea glass with its shades of blues and greens. Maybe I will name these cozies my Sea Glass Mittens. I am loving the way the colors blend and mix--and I love the texture.
The pattern is not written in anything except my chicken scratch yet--but I'm on it. It will be soon--very soon.
Note: If you want to get this yarn on hand before the pattern release--
I am also enthusiastically working on a pattern with this happy yarn. I am soooo absolutely thrilled with how it is turning out I don't know if I can wait to show you. It is simple, adorable and unique. Should I show you? Or do you want to wait for the big Ta-Dah?
Hopefullly I'll have a chance to stop in and say hello before Christmas Day--but if I miss you--MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Oooo! love those mittens and the color is gorgeous. Hey did you see that JoAnn's yarn goes on sale day after Christmas? Maybe me and you should head over. . Early! I must get that pattern for the mittens. I have never made any, and I want to do some. Hugs, Karie
